Meeting With Asian Publishers

Publishers and literary agents from China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Macau, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand gather here every winter to showcase their latest publications either in individual or collective stands.

Your Gateway to Chinese-language Publishing Society

The Taipei International Book Exhibition is the most effective marketplace for rights trading, and sales and distribution of all content across print, TV, film and digital media in Chinese-language publishing.

Taiwan has a book loving population of 23 million people that can support more than 40 thousand new titles every year. This is a mature market that endorses all genres, due to a long history of conscientious and discerning publishers. The popularity of a translated foreign publication here indicates future acceptance across the whole Chinese-language publishing society, hence Taiwan has become a market tester and trend setter in the Chinese-speaking.
